Maricela Wilson, RN, BSN
Marcie Wilson has been a nurse for over 30 years; a graduate from the University of St. Thomas, in Houston, Texas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She has served as the Community Stroke Outreach Coordinator for the Brain & Spine Center at Seton Healthcare Family since 2005. The Stroke & Cardiovascular Outreach Program provides community education on stroke signs and symptoms, early recognition, risk factors, and lifestyle changes in both English and Spanish. The goal is to reach as many members of the community to help prevent the devastating disabilities that this disease can cause.
USTA Texas Section
USTA Texas, located in Austin, is a not-for-profit organization with over 56,000 individual members and 564 organizational members. A volunteer based organization working towards developing and growing the game of tennis in Texas.
Austin Parks & Recreation Department
PARD offers year round tennis play and supervised tennis activities to the community for all ages. The neighborhood tennis courts are governed by the "Good Neighbor Playing Policy” with the intention of FUN for all.
Austin Women’s Tennis Association
Not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting tennis-related activities for adult women in the Austin area. Encourage social, league and tournament play, tennis clinics, and help support the expansion of Austin public tennis facilities and youth development activities.
Capital Area Tennis Association
CATA serves Austin and the surrounding area as a non-profit community service tennis organization. Incorporated in 1974, CATA’s goal is to develop fully the tennis potential of our community with a primary aim to involve more young people and coach them in sportsmanship.
A Glimmer of Hope Austin
Committed to improving the lives of young people and senior adults, they support initiatives that address imbalances in the areas of health care, education, life skills, fine arts, safety and basic needs. Achieving this by supporting - and working through - what it calls, Angels in the Community. Empower. Inspire. Encourage. Hope.
