Project Helping Hand
About Us
Project Helping Hand is the social services partner to CTTA. PHH has been helping people in Austin since 1994. The key to our teams’ success is the commitment we bring to impact people in a life-changing, even life-saving way. Beyond providing what financial support we can, our team helps build self-esteem, communication within families, and plans for a lifetime of success academically, mentally, and physically for the who family.
Project Helping Hand was established in 1994. We have sponsored over 600 adults and families in the inner city of Austin. Our program is supported by individual donations, many of which come from our Tennis Community, Friends and supporters of CTTA. We receive referrals from agencies throughout the city for those who fall above the state income level for support but are still unable to support their family. Project Helping Hand tries to assist those with household items, food and shelter when possible; job and educational assistance or referrals for safe housing for abused women/children, counseling, and medical support. We also provided essentials during our most needed times – holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Although PHH has no funding, we are able to help so many due to the kindness of other.
Although CTTA has limited funds, PHH does it’s best to help those in needed. Please contact our office at (512) 280-5800 for assistance. We are always seeking sponsorship and in-kind donations. Visit our Join Us page to learn how you can help support those in need. 100% of your donation will go to a family in crisis and is tax deductible.

MissionTo provide intervention services for those lacking access to city/county and state assistance, health care, education, promotion/prevention programs and safe and affordable personal growth opportunities. Another mission is to educate and empower families while advocating on behalf of those who cannot fight for their own rights. We will encourage those in the community to never give up, and to help reach their full potential.

GoalsTo see families and adults become self-sufficient and able to replicate these efforts in other places of need. To help promote good health, good citizenship and the skills and knowledge to grow up in a caring world. Every individual success story can point to someone, a teacher, coach, mentor, or friend who stood at a crucial crossroad and pointed the way. “PHH/CTTA is that somebody”.
